How a visit is proven

Scan the code on the counter
Your printed QR code opens your shop in the Proof Chain app.

They change every day and only exist inside your shop. Staff read them out or leave the card on the counter.

The visit is signed and counted
The server checks the words, counts the visit once, and the reward fills up. Nobody can add a visit afterwards.
Every loyalty scheme trusts someone. This one doesn’t have to.

Questions owners ask
Do my customers need to download an app?
Yes. Proof Chain is an iPhone and iPad app, and it needs iOS 26 or later. A wallet pass needs no download, but it can’t tell you whether someone was actually in the shop. Checking in takes a scan and two words.
What if someone texts the words to a friend?
The words change every day, each person can check in once per word, and three wrong guesses lock that phone out for an hour. A shared word buys a friend one visit on one day — not a free coffee.
What do you store about my customers?
No names, emails or phone numbers. Customers pick an alias. Each check-in is sent to our server with a device identifier so it can be verified; the privacy policy explains exactly what is kept and for how long.
Can I manage it from a computer?
Yes. Sign in on this site with the same account you use in the app to see visits, change the word, print your QR code and manage rewards.
